There seems to be a lot of ill-wind about SAFe. I know it’s not perfect from an agile point of view – particularly as it’s more lean than agile. If they’d called it Scaled Lean Framework, it probably would have been less contentious. Either way, for a large company being able to deliver increments in 10-week intervals is often a massive improvement for them. I think if you’re spending most of your time knocking other approaches, then it shows insecurity rather than belief in your own product.

The poverty of the strip is the result of a) time-boxing and b) not being able to draw caricatures. Maybe the next training I go on should be “How to draw caricatures” and not “SAFe Agilist 4.5” šŸ˜‰
