JB Rainsberger recently talked about debugging humans using the Satir Interaction Model. A key element is trying to understand where the other person is coming from. So, actually, this strip could have been called understanding. The idea of trying to overcome your initial reaction and understand where the other person is coming from applies to any tense interaction – not just with managers! 😉
